It's important to remember that you will not share 100% of the same principles and values as anyone. The people on this site and the vast majority of people on Pwin are on our side and will live happily in the same system we would.

While having purists is important, keeping those notions realistic is equally so.

I also don't particularly care for DeSantis over Trump but that's neither here nor there.

for finally giving in

There's something gratifying in making your own way in the world but the very notion of that is, like many questionable things now, very modern.

As a son I knew I wanted to make my own way but it wasn't until I was a father that I understood that we don't want our children to have to make their own way. An 'individualist' mindset taken to this extreme forces people to start from the bottom and as this post shows it puts us at a distinct disadvantage to other peoples who know the value of in-group preference.

Assuming that you can trust the number they give...

That's my issue too. We obviously can't trust the numbers, especially since I've seen them all over the place, but in which direction are they in error.

What's the actual number Skil?

Yeah, he kind of is. If they still exist look into some of his youtube posts or this Blackpilled stream for a summation.

I get the impression people don't care about sources if the narrative feels good.

Yeah and that's the point now. The left has been using misinformation and emotional manipulation for decades but the right keeps up with 'the truth will come out' and they continue to lose on every issue.

the highways example...

Highways represent a barrier to entry. In my city for example, you can't get from the ghetto to the nicer parts of town without a car and the required costs of car ownership. This keeps the riffraff out of the suburbs and rural areas and confined to the shit heaps they've created.

Walkability has been a trojan horse for the creation of city-prisons. It makes people dependent on public transportation for their mobility and effectively limits a person to a few square miles of range.

That doesn't even bother me, if someone wants to live that way that's fine. Its this weird obsession that walkability advocates have for it that makes them unable to see some people want space. They don't want to live their lives in a six mile radius and go home to a 800 sqft apartment every night.

...city in America built in the last few decades...

I can shed some light on this. This comes from property ownership and decentralized planning. As a city expands and morphs from rural to urban property will change hands and the size of the plats will naturally decrease. So you can buy a good corner on an intersection for a reasonable amount and develop a few acres. Anything more than that becomes riskier. A half-mile long development will require tens of millions of dollars for the dirt, years of planning and decades to fully develop. They also become magnets for crime and homelessness, especially close to city centers. It's generally not worth it. So you cut up the land and sell it off piece by piece and get a bunch of strip malls owned and developed independently.

shoddy McMansions

Anytime I see this phrase I roll my eyes. This is nothing more than a buzz word to try to shame middle-class people from building large homes. You'll get these silly little blogs where bitter people take down some family's home because they don't like the window placement. This retarded notion that a home has to conform to some random's idea of quality is silly and is nothing more than them looking for a reason to get upset. You have no idea of the build quality of those homes as you cruise by at 60mph, you don't know the layout and how the home serves the needs of the family all you see is a neighborhood of big houses and you get all pissy about it.

All of the things you hate are caused by diversity.

Suburbs, highways, ugly new architecture, shoddy construction are all the product of Diversity™.

Dude answered his own question in the first line.

You. You fucking retard, you are the point. His dad didn't do all that shit for himself, he did it for you and your kids and your kids' kids. All the hardship, all the turmoil of a thousand generations has been for that and this fucking NEET can't see it.

Don't get wrapped up in your own bullshit. Don't be myopic. Live for the future, do your best to provide a good start for your children, teach them to do the same and your progeny will thank you by carrying you into eternity inside themselves.

You're a joke.

Bro, it doesn't work like that. The scripture is a guide not a magic talisman. Take the lesson to heart and use them to guide your actions and your thoughts. Refer to them in times of trouble and temptation and take strength in the words and insights provided.

As for your niche interests, I don't understand the problem. Lots of people have goofy hobbies. I hate talking about sports but I'll blab all day about how Rogue One is the bet Star Wars movie since Jedi or how much fun I had at the range recently.

Unless your interests are solely hentai or some shit then it's just a matter of learning when it's appropriate to talk about them. Also, the only time its appropriate to talk to a girl about you goofy hobbies is after marriage.

No, the media only showed you the stories of 'right-wingers' fucking kids. Even the Catholic Church pedo shit was blown out of proportion of you look into the numbers.

If you think the media that is lying to you today wasn't lying to you twenty years ago you're a fool.

It's amazing to me how quickly the post 'civil rights' society decayed in nearly every aspect. It's even more amazing to me how many people refuse to see it.

Uh oh, you've triggered my rant card. I don't think 'objectification' in the modern sense (requiring attractiveness) is a bad thing. Now the classical sense where you see someone as solely a means to an end or something to solely provide personal gratification is bad.

I see romantic relationships as needing three pillars; attraction, security (financial and emotional) and compatibility (values and personality). In my opinion a good relationship needs all three to function but can limp along with two. Some of those things can be provided by only one person and some require both and that even depends on the couple. All relationships require compromise and where that compromise happens depends on the people in the relationship.

Where I think our society has failed is that it has started shaming people for requiring two of these pillars; attractiveness and financial security. Fortunately and unfortunately not everyone has bought this reasoning and that creates this friction we see in the current dating pool now where we have people bringing nothing to the table but having outsized requirements of their own.

Hell, the same thing applies to Harris as VP and it'll be even worse when she becomes president in a few months since neither of her parents were citizens or White.

We're already starting to see a saturated market of single women that no one wants.

That's happening to both sexes. In my opinion it seems that a lot of people have been convinced that regardless of where they fall on the attractiveness scale they are entitled to the best available. This complete feminization of the youth's romantic guidance has distorted everyone's perceptions. Women think that attractiveness doesn't matter, men think that you should treat a potential girlfriend like you do your mom, and both think that the only thing that should matter is their own personality but they'll judge everyone else as a whole. Generations of smearing people as gold diggers or shallow has tricked millions of people into thinking that you can't be judges on either of those two aspects of yourself.
