A lot of us are on the autism spectrum. We have to be able to understand complicated systems, know the codes that apply and don't apply, focus hard on one thing, and make objective decisions that follow the rules. There was some study where they ranked professions by which had the most autistic people and engineering was number 1 by a long shot.

I have worked with female engineers who were excellent. They were excellent because they genuinely had a passion for engineering. They also never felt the need to congratulate themselves on social media for doing their jobs while being female, and didn't participate in the "women in STEM" meme.

The ones whose entire identity is being a woman engineer are the ones that are incompetent and will lose interest and quit after a few years in the industry.

Today, I preach to literally the Choir. Hope everybody enjoyed Church today.

The current trend in the engineering industry is to oversell engineering specifically to women. This causes more problems than it solves, and especially harms women in STEM. They tell girls that engineering is exciting and cool and you're breaking down barriers and building the future. What they're unwittingly doing, is setting these girls up for disappointment when they actually become engineers. Engineering is not shiny objects; it is TPS reports.

Women who got into engineering because they thought it was cool will quickly lose interest when, through all the buzzwords, they find out their job is to calculate how deep to dig retention ponds, then write 10 pages of specifications for storm drainage pipes, and apply for an excavation permit from the city. All of these are very important jobs, but it will never be cool, it will never be trendy, and nobody will want to hear you talk about your job.

A woman, or man for that matter, who started engineering for the wrong reasons will burn out quickly, and do her job very half-assedly. This harms the company that hired them, and everybody who depends on the systems she designed. Many companies will hire engineers who become disillusioned and quit within the first two years, leaving the engineers who don't hate it to pick up their slack until they do. I personally have had to deal with the fallout of engineers (male and female) quitting unexpectedly because their hearts weren't in it. On a large scale, the entire industry is harmed.

Remember that engineering job that involves calculating retention ponds, writing storm drain specs and applying for permits? Somewhere, there is somebody whose passion is drainage, and his childhood dream was to make drainage plans and get paid to do it. It makes no sense that he doesn't get to become an engineer, because a woman who doesn't even want to do the job was tricked into taking his place.

I'm preparing a post about the women in STEM u/#soyjack meme. In short, it harms everybody, but it harms women in STEM most. They go into it with expectations that will not be met when they actually become engineers.

I love going on the internet and reading true stories about things that actually happened.

Cause all the smart men became electricians or plumbers and started making more money than those women ever will, at age 19, without going into debt. Non-medical doctorate degrees are cope for people who suck at everything but school.

He lied to the kids' parents to get them to go along with his experiment. The parents didn't know he was experimenting on their kids. He also lied to them about why they need to simulate sex acts in his office, while he takes pictures. As his experiment was going on, he wrote down lies about how well Bruce was adjusting to being "Brenda."

Also, he defended pedophilia, incest and bestiality and thought all were legitimate and healthy sexual relationships. Gender theory was basically him indulging in his fetish, and leftists today treat it as if it were real science.

Lately, he has been getting much better at hiding the amogus. Always makes me smile when I see it.

I tried it once in college. It didn't give me noticeably more gains, but it did make me pee every 15 minutes. Do not recommend.

It's a 1984-style brainwashing exercise where they use social pressure to get people to agree to obvious lies. When it's obviously a man in a dress, you know it's a man in a dress, but you're afraid to say it so you refer to him as her, it weakens your integrity and makes your belief system more pliable. If they do it enough, they can just tell the entire population what to believe.

A similar, and more blatant example happened when Pyongyang opened North Korea's first golf course, and Kim Jong Il supposedly shot 11 holes in one, his first time playing golf. Of course, nobody is expected to believe that, but if you say it out loud, you will be executed. His golf score exists as a reminder to the populace that they are never to doubt what the Government says, no matter how obvious their lies are. In leftist-controlled spaces in America, you are cancelled if you say "that is clearly a man in a dress" and refer to him as such. They are working their way up to unrealistic golf scores.

Take kickbacks from Yellow Cube Co. to spend $10,000 of tax money per yellow cube to install them in your city

Homeless people can't lay on them like benches so you can kick that problem down the road

It's slightly harder for the Part And Parcel trucks to run over infidels on the sidewalks so you can have a beautifully culturally diverse city

Sounds like a win-win-win to me.

That's an interesting nose and some interesting hair roots on this "White" woman.

The gist of the study: Metabolism is fast in children because they are growing and that takes energy. Then it is stable from 20-60, unless you become a fat soyboy. Then, from age 60 on, it slows down at a rate of 1% per year until you die.

The FDA is incredibly corrupt.

Yes. And even THEY didn't stick their neck out to approve the vaccine. They gave it "emergency use authorization" which basically means, it's not as dangerous as the real virus, we think, and they weren't going to take the risk with anything more.

Intent of my comment was to say that, without FDA approval, the people who criticize the vaccine-hesitant don't have a leg to stand on.

...or the FDA could just approve the vaccine.

I've noticed that too. Lots of posts that are just like, a transsexual that doesn't pass with a low-effort title like "Disgusting" that will get upvotes and make them look like a trusted member after a while.

Fellow green wolves, we must let the blue wolves hunt on our land or we will not survive another generation. No wolf being is illegal. One race, the wolf race.

Yes, yes, yes, u/#yes

We are so fortunate to live in a society/time in history where we actually have a choice to be strong. We have an abundance of food, protein is actually affordable (meat was a luxury food for a long time), douchehouses exist, and our civilizations are safe enough that an injury is unlikely to kill you. We can even access all the world's knowledge of exercise science (a field that didn't even exist 100 years ago) from a device that fits in your pocket. Lifting the actual weights is the EASY part. It's such a waste to have all of this and choose to be weak.
