Surprised they hadn't already done this, when working on public facing services that have image uploads it's the first thing I would do.

Are there differences of opinion, or at least exepression, of this in the orthodox east (or is it uniform)? Do you have any writings on hand which are the "source" explaining this understanding from the Eastern Fathers (pre and post schism)?

Also, how does this /actually/ differ from the Catholic understanding? I've recently been looking at EO and RC/EC* debates, discussions, and writings and from what I've seen they don't disagree substantially on this issue but rather specfic:

  1. Lingusitic depictions of the Trinitarian reality (don't want to overstate this, though, since many try to make the false conclusion that the arguments are entirely about differing expressions)
  2. Issue relating tangentially** to the Godhead, specifically the precise way in which the Father interacts with the Son and Holy Spirit (filioque controversy is the primary, possibly only, example people think of and is sadly tied heavily to the linguistic issues in point #1)

*RC/EC = Roman Catholic/Eastern Catholic

** "tangential" not meaning unimportant but rather just not directly related to the Godhead of the Father (other aspects).

PS: Thank you for your cordial responses. I've had nothing but bad experiences with the EO's I've met online and it has been nearly impossible to get people to just explain themselves without them trying to preemptively debate me.

I've tried many different brewing methods and I really can't say I like X over Y*. There are pros and cons, but if you put in enough effort refining your brewing ratios, temperatures, and beans I really can't tell a /quality/ difference most methods (taste and extraction differs, but mostly this would be personal preference and not an objective quality standard).

*esprseso excluded, too different of a category

For drip or alternative brewing methods coffe shops are a huge scam. Only reason to go to a coffee shop is if you:

  1. Don't regularly consume coffee and don't want to take the time to refine your brewing method.
  2. Drink espresso, but not very often, and the espresso machine cost/learnng isn't worth it.
  3. You are travelling.

Other than those there's not really a good reason to waste money at a shop.

Based. The word for left in Latin is "sinister" for a reason.

So Jesus is God by nature in his Divine Essence shared with God the Father, but the source of the Godhead is the Father. The Father is the uncaused cause of all.

If the Father is the uncaused cause of all, does that mean that the Holy Spirit and the Son are caused? How does this relate to the God being out of time, are the Spirit and Son caused temporally or as a logical progression of sorts (A->B->C, no time needed for A to relate to C logically) ?

To give this same title to his Son would lead to polytheism or modalism.

Are you referring to the title "God" or "Godhead" here? I assume the latter.

Stable coins have all the downsides of fiat as well as all the crypto downsides. Why people use them is beyond me, you can already do everything they can do by using banking api.

The US, China, or other nations could fairly easily execute a 51% attack, they just don't care to (at least not yet). I like crypto for various reasons, but many if not most of its shills are making stuff up trying to get rich. I basically treat crypto as a way to gamble.

One of the turning points for me was realizing how the Bible is considered to be historically "guilty until proven innocent", a standard not held to any other source. In order to reject the reliability of the gospels you have to take a completely novel and unreasonable historical approach.

Rittenhouse case is a good current one. Most people think Kyle killed 3 blacks who were minding their own business, the evidence is so strong in Kyle's favor that it's a good recent event to make people think.
