Yeah I have reacted the same way to similar fictional stories of betrayal. Would you say, "you've been played" by reacting negatively to the death of a fictional character in your favorite book? I think it's kind of a lefty talking point to frame every online interaction as a power dynamic. You know I was thinking about this post, and it doesn't add up. When a woman is pregnant, she has all sorts of checkups and ultrasounds and stuff. If she got an abortion, she would have to stop going to those and her husband would know something was up. If she kept going and told nobody about the abortion the prenatal doctor would totally be like "wtf where is the baby". She'd have to be far along enough to be doing prenatal stuff to know it was a boy.
