I think it's accelerating. I used to teach at a primary school about ten years ago and this was not happening at all. Granted I live in a semi rural area so maybe it's different.
Accelerating, I graduated 2013 and the gayest thing in my high school was some after school club for the 6 or so gay kids. Most of whom you couldn't even tell were gay but now that same school teaches LGBT shit in classes
