For anyone unaware these are the events of Ruby Ridge that I am referencing.
My plan is to stay in the suburbs and try to help defend my community.
I have farming skills, farming equipment, seeds, two massive water purification systems enough to purify 50,000 gallons of water, weapons and very good solar panels on my roof. I know how to compost human waste safely.
Firstly, I will protect my family and see how "72 hours to animal" plays out.
After that, I will offer assistance to my neighbors in the form of clean water and a safe place to listen to local radio broadcasts in exchange for working together to protect what we have.
I have bought a MASSIVE event marquee that can be used as a makeshift church / school / cinema / daycare center. I have a speaker system for broadcasting EBS messages and local radio to a large crowd that can also be used by a pastor for church services. I have also downloaded thousands of hours of interesting and educational podcasts, radio plays, short stories, classic stories, Coast to Coast AM shows, survival podcasts, children's stories. This can also be used to give the community structure with entertainment for everyone even story time for the children each evening.
I will attempt to expand this and hopefully convert backyards and then parkland into guarded farmland.
If we can keep our little community fed and working together to defend what we have and expand and grow, hopefully we can survive the joggers.

You've got to figure that "escaping" would be about like releasing a domesticated animal into the wild. It would probably be a good idea to start practicing now.
As for my plan, you can just tell the boys at the field office that I said hello.

A nice white-pill is that as soon as shit hits the fan, all the people that we know aren't really Canadian are going to flee back to their countries. I'm sure you too have noticed it happening in Ukraine.
I live in ground zero for the next total war, so I may very well die horribly. Assuming I leave in the next few years, I will destroy all my documents, relocate to a remote desert oasis, and only speak the local language. It'll be as if I died.

No. It's just me. I'm writing an extensive preppers guide for beginners for people living in cities and suburbs that I'll post soon.

Here's a link to a rough version I posted last year. There are a few things I need to revise and I want to expand it specifically for people living in a city or suburbs. I'll include a lot more metrics on how long the small and tall tealights burn (over 2 hours / upto 9 hours), how a $20 portable camping stove and 12 x $1 gas canisters (each burn on high flame for about 80 minutes) can provide 120 days of hot dinners and how to cook pasta without heat and how to cook restaurant perfect rice with 2 minutes of camping stove high flame. And go into detail about what city prepping food it best (buy lots of peanut butter because emergency breadlines will happen after the grocery store shelves are empty). People will need to be reminded to add rice and pasta to every can of stew / soup and chili to stretch them out. That sort of thing.
