Bitcoin is a scam and the only people that promote it are those who bought into the pyramid scheme.

It is an international fiat under the direct control of globalist banking cabals. Bitcoin was made by a cabal, the majority of coins are held by the cabal, and the cabal controls all the exchanges.

Stop supporting gay scams and focus your effort on the abolishment of the fed, a return to traditional economics, and banning usury.

Please tell me the precise way in which it's a scam. If you can you can make a bunch of money off that knowledge.

6
ButMyFeelings 6 points ago +14 / -8

Agreed 100%. Imagine investing in something that doesn’t even exist, and of which its value is controlled by the whims of the billionaire class. Can’t imagine anything going wrong with this model.

9
Wuwei 9 points ago +9 / -0

Of course the Bitcoin network exists. One can send a billion dollars across the world outside the banking system at any time. What better currency in a collapsing global society heading towards totalitarianism.

Yes bitcoin will collapse, eventually. Yes the dollar will collapse. Yes gold will rise again and then diminish . All of this probably within the next 25 years. That doesn't mean they all aren't useful in their own time. Just like prison and prison camp currencies. The current USD is 50 years old, the current Ruble is 23 years old. 12.5 years for BTC ain't bad

It isn't that hard to time jumping from one to the other. There's tons of leeway in being correct

1
ButMyFeelings 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’ll admit I’ve never looked into how the mining works etc etc. It just seems like something intangible that is less tied to actual performance than stocks, and certainly less tangible than other currency or physical assets. And it is definitely something that is much easier for the billionaires to manipulate the value of. Not my thing, I’ll take the Fiat.

internet off, bitcoin byiee

9
Clockwork_Orange 9 points ago +9 / -0

If internet is off, humanity is most likely also off, which means that you can also say bye to the American dollar

1
EvanGRogers 1 point ago +1 / -0

A lot of people don't realize that the US dollar is very much a digital currency

1
Clockwork_Orange 1 point ago +1 / -0

From what I can tell blockchain is a much better technology than traditional banks’ integrated systems of banking. Bitcoin and other shitcoins will most likely die. However, the technology will most likely prevail and be used to perform transactions at a faster rate. Banks will be replaced by mining giants who’ll make sure that the system operates with integrity. On one hand this system will remove some of the power the oligopolistic banking system holds, nevertheless if the national crypto-currency is controlled by the fed, it may lead to security issue. I think us normal folks will probably be using a standard crypto dollar, whilst large corporations will have their own currency that’ll be more performant and private.

1
EvanGRogers 1 point ago +1 / -0

If Bitcoin were to die, no other cryptocurrency could hope to achieve what it has achieved because the new one would be crushed instantly from the miners-in-wait

0
Clockwork_Orange 0 points ago +1 / -1

No

1
EvanGRogers 1 point ago +1 / -0

You need a currency-reward to have a blockchain worth a damn.

Bitcoin was able to progress and evolve under the radar until it got strong enough to survive.

Any major player who had realized the threat BTC posed to global currencies could have just bought a farm and 51% attacked BTC before it became anything.

No other PoW blockchain can hope to replicate BTC's history. PoS has issues.

Bitcoin IS unique.

The very-successful blockchain gave credibility to the currency, which gave credibility to the ledger, which gave credibility to the payment system, which gave credibility to the currency... etc

Bitcoin is the best for a reason - it survived in the jungle before there were predators.

Bitcoin's current level of adoption - being officially recognized as money in a country - was EARNED.

Bitcoin won't die because it can't die because everyone wants it because it's trustworthy because it won't die.

8
TarquinusCollatinus 8 points ago +12 / -4

Not even that, power off, bitcoin bye. Bitcoin is especially retarded because its value fluctuates wildly on a daily basis making it useless for a medium of exchange.

If only there were a few metals recognized universally as sound money throughout the entirety of human history....

5
Leporidae 5 points ago +5 / -0

What do you think will happen to the sales-value of your gold when Musk and Bezos hauls a couple of metal-rich asteroids into Earth orbit and starts smelting them down? (Or you can stick your head in the sand and pretend that'll never happen.) Everything is temporary.

2
then 2 points ago +2 / -0

No need to get asteroid once we have fusion power plants.

If electricity was cheaper you could suck thousands of tons of dissolved gold salt from ocean on giant anodes!

it will happen.

but the price would collapse as soon as you start doing it, as you said.

uranium is rare and maybe that is worth an asteroid

2
Leporidae 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes the whole economy will be turned upside down if we get dirt-cheap power! Fusion would be a very convenient way of doing this, but automated manufacturing in orbit, turning an asteroid into giant solar panel arrays, would also do it.

Extracting metals from ocean water is also a nice potential side effect if you're running an OTEC generator as part of a larger seastead.

Edit: but there's a limit to how much metal you can extract from seawater, whereas it is completely feasible to smelt a few asteroids with as much rare metal content as the entire accessible upper layer of the Earths crust.

1
TarquinusCollatinus 1 point ago +1 / -0

Same thing with diamonds or oil, they'll form a cartel and keep the price artificially high by limiting production.

weezkitty 4 points ago +4 / -0

6
EvanGRogers 6 points ago +6 / -0

No it's not a scam. It's open source.

It's not fiat, it was voluntarily adopted. You have no evidence that it's controlled by any secret cabal.

Bitcoin is as good as gold, it's better than paypal for sending money, and it's impossible to lie with.

4
then 4 points ago +4 / -0

Paid jew leftists inhabit free speech sites to downvote pro bitcoin news, and smear bitcoin

its as if (((bankers))) fear it or something

1
Killroyomega 1 point ago +2 / -1

I am neither paid for this nor a jew, sir, and I do not take kindly to the relation.

I don't like Bitcoin because no one has yet been able to convince me that it's not a pyramid scheme run by banks. Bitcoin is a fiat system where both the value and production exist mostly in the hands of international banking consortiums. Bitcoin itself is an international fiat set to replace current domestic fiat. Why would I want to give up control over the power to mint coinage to a shadow cabal of globalists?

Instead we should utilize the system that Hitler adopted: a currency based on a split between physical assets and relative labor hours.

0
EvanGRogers 0 points ago +1 / -1

You don't understand "fiat", and it's not our job to dissolve your insane delusions.

"I don't want to marry Sally because no one has been able TO CONVINCE ME that she's not a succubus sent from hades to suck my lifeforce from me and sell it to her demon friends for demon crack. I just don't want to encourage deviant demon behavior, y'know?"

Good luck with that. (Psst: the amount of evidence that the US dollar is what you hate, and that gold is controlled by banks is overwhelming)

0
Killroyomega 0 points ago +1 / -1

You don't understand "fiat", and it's not our job to dissolve your insane delusions.

Accuse me of being a leftist, use leftist jewish rhetoric.

Okay.

Go ahead and explain fiat.

I'll be waiting, Shlomo. ;)

0
EvanGRogers 0 points ago +1 / -1

Fiat means "by decree of the state".

The end.

It's only "fiat" in El Salvador, and that was after a huge battle of politics. Even there, there are 2 national currencies.

Unless you show me ANY semblance of humility, I'm just going to block you.

0
Killroyomega 0 points ago +1 / -1

You are completely wrong.

Please block me Mr. Shekelstein, I care nothing for your pilpul.

0
Killroyomega 0 points ago +1 / -1

Yes, it is a scam.

"Voluntary adoption" has fuck all to do with fiat. Bitcoin is fiat because the value of the currency is tied neither to gold nor to labor. It has no physical aspect and is entirely based on speculation.

No evidence that it's controlled by a cabal? Are you joking? "Satoshi Nakamoto" is the pen name of a team hired by a banking consortium to create an alternative digital currency outside of any individual state's control. The vast majority of Bitcoin that exists is held by banks and billionaires. The exchanges are almost universally owned and operated by major banks.

Bitcoin is not good as gold. If the communication grid goes down in a civil or global war it's effectively useless and worthless. PayPal is gay, so who cares? It's not impossible to lie with if you control the exchanges. It's the same way you can fake and launder sourcing and data if you control all the nodes in an IP chain.

Just face it bro, you bought into a pyramid scheme. Make your money off those that buy in later and get out before the system crashes. Don't try and pretend Bitcoin is some kind of amazing savior of economics nor a realistic replacement for modern fiat.

0
EvanGRogers 0 points ago +1 / -1

You don't know what "fiat" means, do you?

"Satoshi Nakamoto" is the pen name of a team hired by a banking consortium to create an alternative digital currency outside of any individual state's control.

Citation please.

The vast majority of Bitcoin that exists is held by banks and billionaires.

Do you have ANY proof of that?

But, yes, people who bought a shit-ton of bitcoin 10 years ago are now billionaires. I wish I were one of them.

Bitcoin is not good as gold.

You're right - it's better. There are no counterfeits, and bitcoin is itself a payment system.

If the communication grid goes down in a civil or global war it's effectively useless and worthless.

If your government becomes tyrannical - very likely at this point - you can't just walk onto a plane with your wealth in gold.

I can walk naked across the border with nothing, and as long as I know my seed phrase, I can get all my wealth instantly.

No tyrant can take my bitcoin if I don't give them my seed phrase. It's autonomy

It's not impossible to lie with if you control the exchanges.

Not your keys, not your coins.

Just face it bro, you bought into a pyramid scheme

All money is a ponzi scheme. That's the issue you can't get your head around.

1
Killroyomega 1 point ago +1 / -0

But, yes, people who bought a shit-ton of bitcoin 10 years ago are now billionaires. I wish I were one of them.

This is everything that needs to be known to understand your position.

You are blinded by greed.

You really like lecturing people about shit you don't understand, don't you? You sound like a fucking leftist!

"No one has been able to convince me the vaccines are dangerous, so vax mandate!"

For anyone else reading this:

a) this guy has NO evidence for ANY of his claims

b) bitcoin has 100% saved lives

c) bitcoin is slowly being adopted, so its value is only going to go up

d) the question of whether it's money or not is settled: it's doing everything money does

e) this guy doesn't understand the word "fiat"

f) he doesn't understand economics

g) he's too arrogant to learn - something Christ specifically warns people about

h) bitcoin has proven itself safe from every attack so far

i) it has the most secure blockchain

j) mining has left China and moved to the US

k) the only real legitimate complaint against btc now is "what if it was all designed by the evil secret Group X!?", which can be assuaged by pointing out that every major group is against BTC, and some people actually know Satoshi Nakamoto, and know he's a regular guy. The coding originally was full of bugs, and it likely came out of the Bit Cash group of rebels.

It amazes me how so many people here are clueless about BTC.

It's decentralized currency. It is money not controlled by the (((FED))). Jews and the globohomo hate crypto because they can't print more of it.

If you're saying a commodity being influenced by the market is a "pyramid scheme" you're fucking retarded on economics.

And who makes this kind of post anyway? First of all, it's somebody on twitter who capped this and then shared it to talk shit.

Who the fuck is on twitter? For all the talk about being a luddite on here, you faggots sure do love your twitter, facebook and reddit. I've never had a twiiter, and deleted facebook and reddit years and years ago. If faggot OP were truly based, he'd be posting pictures of his garden, not sharing faggot twiiter posts.

Also look into Monero - has privacy features allowing it to be untraceable and function as online cash. Bitcoin and most other coins are traceable via blockchain analysis

1
EvanGRogers 1 point ago +1 / -0

LN fixes this for the most part with onion routing.

1
EvanGRogers 1 point ago +1 / -0

You can create a secret LN link to yourself, transfer BTC to yourself, no one will know who got it, abd it's basically untraceable at that point.

Further, coinjoins destroy tracability.

1
MrUnderground 1 point ago +1 / -0

Honest question here, never really cared about crypto, but I've seen a lot of ppl pointing out how all of em are pyramid schemes, and from the videos ppl sent me showing cryptofriends begging random pedestrians to buy their crypto that's basically what it looks like to me. Do you mind elaborating on how it's not a pyramid scheme? You seem fairly offended, or even triggered, by this comments section and I just want to expand my knowledge regarding crypto and you seem like a right person to ask

3
preparation-H 3 points ago +3 / -0

Vast majority of cryptos out now are pump and dump retard pyramid schemes, you're correct. But it's basically 100% certain now that crypto will be part of our currency ecosystem, and inherently they're just as 'empty' as all fiats (value based on what people collectively agree upon). Some of them will inevitably win out and become widely used de-facto standards, so people are trying to find and HODL those ones

2
Fabius 2 points ago +2 / -0

fiats (value based on what people collectively agree upon).

That is not what fiat is. Fiat is 100% manipulated by the state and globohomo.

Plus they also started most if not all the communist revolutions in the 1900s, leading to mass killings and genocides, not to mention starvation and gulags.

The fact that they're pulling the strings under both capitalism and communism should alarm anyone.

5
Totsugeki 5 points ago +5 / -0

Despite being a statistically small percentage of the population, they wield an immense amount of power in the government, media, education, medical, and financial systems. Maybe that would be tolerable if they were using that power to fortify and empower America, but more often than not, that power is used to divisive ways that tear apart the social fabric of this country. Take a look at the CEOs and financiers of media propaganda, porn, refugee organizations that support open borders and unchecked illegal immigration, terrorist groups like BLM, drag queen story hour and transgender stuff, and 99% of the time, you'll find a Jewish name at the very top of it. After a certain point, it stops being a coincidence.

See, this is what I’m talking about. Stuff like this is objectively correct, and you say a lot of it. When you’re wrong, you’re only situationally or circumstantially wrong. Sometimes that’s the most important way to be wrong, sure, but the point is that your ideas are ideologically sound. It’s just that they’re sane ideas for an insane world, and they’re not going to work if you keep the wrong mindset about the way things are. That’s all.

But then you go and claim I want niggers to so much as know of the existence of white women–without evidence, I have to add, since apparently you think otherwise–and it makes me wonder what’s going on behind those cogwheels of yours.
