Fashion isn't just gay and boring it is completely debased and consumerist. It is about appearances and what is in now at the expense of tradition and longevity. Have perfectly good high quality furniture? Oh get rid of it because wood isn't in style and buy painted particle board because its modern. The same example could be made for clothes, cars, houses and a variety of other things. Being fashion obsessed is for aristocrats (or atleast wannabe ones) who have absolutely nothing else to fill their life with.

Fashion trends, I agree... But there is definitely something to be said for taking pride in your appearance and owning high quality, fashionable clothing.

I used to be a jr. engineer and on a lark I decided to buy several high quality made to measure suits for work, I ended up running my own department within 18 months. I'm like to think my talent and hard work played a role, but I think switching from thrift store jeans and t-shirts might have impressed the C-suite more.

Buy again, this isn't following fashion trends.

I think this is more along the line of the saying “dress for the job you want” and the fact the presenting ones self matters

DoubleEagle 6 points ago +6 / -0

It is, and follow the wider curves of fashion, eschewing it completely and wearing burlap sacks will do you no good.

marvinthehaggler 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah I was reading your post thinking "that's not 'fashion'."

Well made bespoke tailored suits are a man's armor. As long as one is not a dipshit and tricks up the design too much (stick with the English style, or maybe go with the Italian style if you are small or a phag), stick with navy, dark and light grey, pinstripe or no pinstripe. Go for surgeon's cuffs on a one or two button jacket, and maybe have one 6 over 2 jacket for a special occasion. Simple well made brogue shoes, etc. Black or navy socks... don't be a phaggot. White or corn flour blue shirts, with no chest pockets, and french cuffs if you like.

That's what I bought for myself over the years. And the oldest of it looks the same as the newest of it, and twenty years from now will still be "in style".

2
DoubleEagle 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, I mean, it's fashion, just classic fashion.

I think it's important to beautify ourselves and our surrounds, but with an eye to much wider trend curves.

2
marvinthehaggler 2 points ago +2 / -0

Agreed.

There is not much difference between how I dress when I dress (these days on video calls all that's really required is that you are wearing a shirt) and how the folks dressed in the '30s, '40s, '50s, early '60s, and from the '90s forward (late '60s and '70s were a wrong turn, sartorially, for men).

3
nimbullnavigator 3 points ago +3 / -0

One could argue (in line with the parent comment) that to the degree your suit accounted for your rise in position, the position itself is unsustainable. Knowing this, however, it may be possible to leverage that short term advantage for more sustainable results.

Focus on the wider curves of fashion. It's not complicated.

Being fashion obsessed is for aristocrats (or atleast wannabe ones)

It's most definitely for the wannabe aristocrats. New money cares deeply about what you think and whether you are impressed. Old money doesn't give a rip what you think.

6
just-a-normal-dude 6 points ago +7 / -1

Being fashioned obsessed is for aristocrats

Even that was started by jews. When are aristocrats most notorious for fashion? Completely coincidentally at the same time many of them were completely losing their fortunes... Where did the wealth go? Jews been jewing in Europe for a long time.

Same thing with women. It is half of the reason why they put the kiked BMWF ads everywhere, it appeals to both consumer bases that blow money on a whim.

Ever accidentally step on a nigger's shoe? Instant chimpout. To a white man it's bewildering how someone can freak out over an obvious accident that does no harm. The attempt at understanding fades to anger as you think "does this nigger think he can be a nigger with me?" and you make it clear that you're not in the mood, if you know what I mean. Then...well I've never had one push it past that. Niggers don't know what to do with a white man who glares into their eyes just like a white man doesn't know how to handle negritude in general.

They back down fast when you stand up.

They will even respect a white man who acts like man, even if they're enemies.

I abhor modern fashion. You can get hand made leather boots that will last 15 years to a lifetime for the same price as some sneakers.

The adult minorities that do this are femenized from media and growing up in single mom households. They become like their moms, and grow a penchant for jewelry and shoes.

There's a difference between fashion and having nice clothes. I have a suit and some really expensive shoes. I own these for days that I'll be meeting with customers. Normal days at work I'm wearing a tshirt with holes in it and ratty old jeans.

I met a manager once that essentially spent all of his money dressing himself. He was always over dressed for the job. We all thought he was a faggot. Couldn't confirm he sucked dick, but he was incompetant.

Minorities yes but the one that's surprising is slavs. They are SLAVES to fashion. Even in their countries. It's full on (and not white).

7
Feelsgood2020 7 points ago +7 / -0

You just reminded me of my 10th grade edge lord days. A girl in my class was selling custom t-shirts with any message you wish. Classmates were getting quarky and goofy in jokes put on shirts. I went with "slave to fashion" on the back of a black shirt with white lettering.

I absolutely hated seeing how other classmates would pretend to be unique outsiders by essentially wearing the same thing. I was anti everything. I hated being a walking advertisement. I wore black dress pants, black $10 sneakers, and a white t-shirt almost daily. It was my silent protest.

This is because in eastern Europe, a lot of people live in apartments and rarely commute by or even own a car. It is a way of projecting status for people walking around streets and riding subways.

4
monkebrau 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah I get that. I just hate the "fronting" culture in eastern europe. It's very nigger-ish (sorry) and very un-middle class. Just infuriates me. This is how you stay poor.

6
Clockwork_Orange 6 points ago +6 / -0

Nevertheless it is important to look the part by dressing up for the occasion. Have a good quality jacket at home with a Tuxedo if needed. Make friends with a tailor, they can pull off some pretty astounding looks that’ll benefit you in your career.

superspathi 5 points ago +5 / -0

Everybody has some kind of sense of style, unless you're a nudist, and I guess that would qualify as a style too.

5
DannyTheSkyman 5 points ago +5 / -0

Since everyone is talking about fashion I just wanna say I hate what they did to "traditional" clothing. The stuff our great-gradnfathers were wearing on a daily basis is now usually way fucking out of the affordable range because it's now "elite business clothing for le epic business men who make big money" usually, at least where I live. And if you want something affordable then you just get the casual zoomer style/all the stuff like jeans t-shirts etc

5
SoAngryRanger 5 points ago +5 / -0

All the black man wants to do is consume status symbols. I almost feel bad that they haven’t evolved to the point of realizing it.

Dumb ass overpriced shoes, cars with impractical wheels, bling- whatever. Even when one of their compatriots is killed doing something niggardly, they turn it into a status symbol by getting the departed’s George Kirby looking face air brushed onto a shirt.

Form should follow function. Every time.

Is it really fashion if you just combine expensive items together? it always makes me cringe when people wear North Face down jackets with ripped skinny jeans and sneakers in winter.

3
MichelleObamasBulge 3 points ago +3 / -0

I worked with some teenaged hispanic guys. On their breaks/lunch all they did was scroll through instagram looking at shoes or fat-asses thots twerking. Literally nothing else.

3
inb4civilwar 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is completely true, but the economy we have now is essentially work for peanuts in a jewish led slave economy. resell these shoes and provide for your family and escape jewmerica. So many White families just want to escape the nigger/jew/spic nightmare of this nation, and most of these people aren't overtly racist THEY ARE TIRED OF BEING KILLED AND BEATEN FOR TRYING TO EXIST. Do whatever you can to eek out a living in a country hell bent on handing control and all the money to jews, nigs, and the dog brained evangelical morons that are funding this whole nightmare.

I think it's important to wear decent clothes but society will treat a man better that has abs, a sharp jawline, and broad shoulders that's wearing a 20 dollar shirt than a man that is 100 pounds overweight wearing designer clothes. I think one should worry about taking care of their body first then fashion.

I don't want to sound gay but if you look at photos of National Socialist Germany's soldiers they look fairly handsome. This is because they were fit and skinny (at some points due to food shortage but still). They also had nice haircuts and uniforms but even the ones in tattered uniforms still look good.

I remember wearing some Adidas Top Ten sneakers on the train when some black guy drinking Hennessey started telling me how he used to collect those sneakers back in the day and spent $600 collecting multiple pairs.

He seemed like an alright guy but with clear compulsion issues.

I do love the shoes and would consider buying another pair for the price I bought my current pair ($90), or find them on sale for about half the price, when they are no longer suitable for use. Like all sneakers though, there isn't much that makes them special and they are shoes that are designed to not be repaired. I just enjoy wearing them.

5
Celtiberian 5 points ago +5 / -0

Why do you need another pair if you already have a pair that works fine? read the title of this site.

2
ChicagoMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because the soles of shoes wear down and it's not good for your feet to walk on them, duh? This won't be for another year or so. I have leather shoes, boots, and boat shoes that can be repaired. I just like the sneakers. I said I would only buy a new pair of Top Tens when my current pair breaks down

There was some UFC fighter that was making like 12k a fight and won one fight (so he made 24k for that fight instead) and bought like 10k in sneakers, then lost his next two fights and will probably be cut and back in the wild making 2k to fight 3 times a year lol.

1
Troof 1 point ago +1 / -0

All blacks are gay. I.e. obsession with shoes, fashion, hairstyles, and jewelry. Proud to wear another man's name on their back. If you separate them from civil society do you know what happens? Examine prisons, mostly blacks, what is one of the most common things known about life in prison? Rape. Sometimes they just fuck each other because they cannot subdue their animalistic urges. They even coined terms for jail sex, "gay for the stay" and use terms like "on the downlow" to indicate that they are secretly fags.

get yourself a good pair of Goodyear welted boots, and they will last you a lifetime. Don't buy sneakers except to run in

Unless you're a tribesman that spends his days naked, you're participating in fashion because you get dressed every day. It just doesn't have to be tied to trends, spending lots of money, or wearing certain brands. You can look nice or interesting or authentic to yourself or have fun with it in a lot of ways that don't involve obsessing over it or dropping $300 on basketball sneakers.

All humans subconsciously react to how you present yourself. I think it's important to consider that at least once in your life.
